This weekend: Punk Rock Flea Market

This weekend be sure to check out the ever popular bi-annual Punk Rock Flea Market. This winter there were over 4000 visitors and 100+ tables of vintage and handmade goods. Event takes place at the Starlight Ballroom (right below 9th & Spring Garden Sts) on Saturday July 11th and Sunday July 12th. Each day will have entirely different sellers (not a single repeat seller). Your admission fee is good for both days.

Handmade Philly members vending Saturday at this event:

  • Sheila and Sharon will be selling delicious baked goods: cookies, brownies and who knows what else!
  • Leah Mackin will be selling handmade journals, sketchbooks, prints/printed goods, 1″ pins, & more! (Remember those little origami fortune tellers from elementary school?) That’s right, you heard me…how can you possibly pass this up? You can’t!

(If you are a member of Handmade Philly who is going to be vending at this event, pls let us know by commenting to this post! We’ll then add your name HERE.)

By the way, do not let the name of the event deceive you. This event has more than punk rock vintage goods for sale. It’s a flea market with furniture, electronics, handmade apparel,  vegan treats, non profit group info, books, art, bikes, etc.

There will also be a full bar and food service kitchen to make the day go by a little faster as well as a rotating shift of WKDU DJs.
