Saturday, August 14, 12:30pm, “Happy Places 2” Terrarium Workshop with Beth Richey @ VIX Emporium, 5009 Baltimore Ave, Philadelphia, PA; Terrariums are self-contained, low maintenance plant ecosystems under glass. Beth’s contain organic moss, water, carbon pellets and fanciful little inhabitants. Some she makes out of clay, like houses, mushrooms, ladybugs and even gnomes! Participants can paint their own pre-made clay creations or choose from an assortment of other notions. It is $15 to register, which includes the workshop and everything you will need to create your own little happy green habitat.
